Powerhouse this Saturday

Bobby will be speaking this Saturday at powerhouse....make sure you come..he's got an awesome message that God has put in his heart to share with Powerhouse.

We have come back from our 3 weeks break (2 weeks packed of conference) very excited and passionate about youth ministry ie Powerhouse and the potential of the youth! (that is you guys!)

Hillsongs Conference & Getsmart Conference

Yo guys.....we're back after a long absence...

Hillsongs was very inspiring.....learnt heaps from really good speakers. But the 29,000 people que is well....super long. The key theme was on STRENGTH..... 5 full days of conferences...
We are blessed by God to be a blessing to other people aroung us. We need to be outward looking. Christian lifestyle is always about doing what's on God's heart.....reaching out, impacting, blessing others. If we just feed ourselves but never bless other ppl, we will just be OBESE christians. which is NOT a good thing.

Getsmart was influential. It's theme this year in on influence. Young people can be an influence in thier workplace, schools, university. But we must make the CHOICE NOW that we want to impact our society. Don't put it off to later or tomorrow. But live for TODAY. Do things TODAY. Procrastination equates to disobedience.

Key speakers at Hillsongs Conference

We had some amazing speakers at the conference. Takings notes like mad as well. Soaking up as much teaching and impartation as we could. Definately have heaps to share with you guys when we get back. Bob and I atttended youth pastors/leadership stream. So we had teaching from John Maxwell himself. Awesome stuff he taught us. Christine was in the worship stream. She had Darlene Zschech, Jack Hayford, Micheal W. Smith and Cece Winans speaking. She to has lots to share with FM when she gets back. God is just revealing stuff to us. Just need to process everything thoroughly. See what else God has to show us in New Zealand. And we just wanna bless you guys back home with what God has blessed us with this winter! ;)

Hillsongs Conference, Sydney Superdome 2005

The conference was held in Sydney Superdome, Olympic Park. There were 29,800 delegates. Night sessions were opened to public and there were up to 40,000 on some nights. Was an awesome experience!
